A useful craft visit explains material, technique, labour, household livelihood and market change. VMF arranges visits only when artisans or local hosts are available and willing to receive guests.
The goal is an exchange with dignity, not a performance interrupted by cameras.

A craft visit may work best as part of a five or seven-night stay or an onward route through Dong Thap. VMF will recommend only combinations that leave enough time with the host.

Prices are quoted in VND according to party size. Each tour clearly states what is included, such as transport, guiding, meals, entrance fees and boat services where applicable. Any compulsory charge not already included will be disclosed before a deposit is requested.

- Guests may request their preferred pick-up and drop-off points. VMF will confirm availability and quote any location-based surcharge in advance.
- English-speaking guiding is available at no extra charge.
- A minimum 60% deposit is required to confirm the tour. The remaining 40% is payable according to the conditions confirmed in the booking.
- VMF experiences depend on weather, seasonality and real operating conditions.

Practical questions
Will I be able to try the craft?
Possibly, when the artisan, material, safety and timing allow. Observation and conversation may be more appropriate on some visits.
Do I have to buy something?
No. Direct purchase can support artisans, but it should remain voluntary and respectful.
Are visits available every day?
No. Craft production and household schedules vary. VMF confirms the host, timing and route before booking.
How are price, inclusions and the deposit confirmed?
Published prices are based on party size. The confirmed quotation states the inclusions, any other compulsory charge and the payment conditions. A minimum 60% deposit is required; the remaining 40% follows the confirmed booking terms. Cancellation and date-change terms are provided in writing before the deposit is paid.
How are solo travel, children and pick-up or drop-off handled?
Guests may request pick-up and drop-off points, with any location-based surcharge quoted in advance. Solo guests travel on a private-tour basis with a 30% surcharge on private transfer costs. Children under 6 travel free and children aged 6–12 receive a 50% reduction when sharing with both parents; compulsory third-party charges are confirmed before booking.
